I have two weather apps I use, this one from channel 13 and another one from Channel 5, Mobile Alabama. Both of them are excellent.
I used to use the Yahoo weather app and then the one from The Weather Channel, but this is the best for local weather. I love the hourly forecast. Good work, WTHR!
This is an excellent weather app. Very easy to use. I do not like the updated interactive radar. The past version was much better. Overall very good though.
future radar cannot be stopped--forced to view from now to whenever without stopping to see the projected radar at a desired time
This app is user friendly and reliable. Forecasts are up to date. Easy access to weather blogs and traffic conditions. App also sends weather alerts.
Has been a life saver, check it every day ! I would never want to be without it ! Very easy to use and get the info needed .
Some bad moments
The radar itself is very helpful. My reason for only 2 stars are the alerts. More than half of the time there is no alert to a weather warning, but a reminder or a cleverly disguised advertisement...even as early as 6:30 A.M. When I hear that familiar NBC tone on my iPhone, I want to know it means I need to take it seriously.
During recent storms if you enlarge the interactive map the current weather is not real time. Also, the current radar maps are not real time as well.
This app was great until they updated it a week or so ago. Please return interactive radar back to previous. Now Im in search of a new weather app. Dont try to fix things that are working properly.
Bring back old radars, what happened to the regional & USA loops, used them a lot ???Not my favorite weather app anymore!!!!
Love the app. Giving it 4 stars only because it drives me crazy when it asks me every other day to rate the app Thats a little excessive. Other than that the radar seems to work most of the time and is accurate I liked the older version of my radar but its been so long since Ive had it I dont remember what I liked better about it.
Update. Horrible app. Whatever you guys have done to it please undo. Where is my radar??
Quick messing with something that used to be a very good app. Now things dont load, they dont have video any longer or they are lazy to load it up or app wont play it...one of the three. It used to work great and be very fast. Now it is slow and tireless to follow where things are changed too. Bye bye 13 weather app!
